Top FAQs

  • Which policies can I pocket points on when I join Bupa?

    You can pocket points on domestic Hospital policies or combined domestic Hospital and Extras policies. Extras only, Ambulance only or Overseas policies are excluded. You must pay your health insurance premiums via direct debit or payroll deduction (if applicable).

  • When will I receive my points after joining Bupa?

    The points will land in your account in the third month after taking out your new policy, assuming you have kept your policy active for 60 days and made all required premium payments during this time by direct debit or payroll deduction (if applicable).

  • How do I switch to Bupa?

    You can join Bupa online, in a Bupa branch or by calling 1300 153 647. You must provide your Everyday Rewards Card number within 30 days of joining Bupa.

  • Where can I find my Bupa membership suffix?

    Your Bupa Membership suffix can be found on your Bupa membership card. It refers to the number listed next to your name on your Bupa membership card (e.g. 00, 01, 02).

     

  • Does my Everyday Rewards account need to match the Bupa policyholder information?

    Yes. The surname linked to your Everyday Rewards account must match your surname or the surname of another member on your policy.

    The surname linked to your Everyday Rewards account (provided during the new policy sign up process) will be validated against the surnames on your policy (at least one surname must match). Upon successful validation, you will receive a confirmation email from Everyday Rewards. You will be notified by Bupa if we are unable to match your policy with your Everyday Rewards account.

  • When can I start collecting the 3x points on fresh fruit, fresh veggies and Macro Wholefoods Market?

    For Everyday Rewards members who sign up to a new Bupa policy, you can start collecting 3x points from the day we confirm your Everyday Rewards account details. Make sure you are subscribed to our Everyday Rewards communications and look out for a confirmation email.

    For existing Bupa policyholders who link their Everyday Rewards account, you can start collecting the 3x points once you’ve successfully linked your Bupa policy with your Everyday Rewards account.

1) Woolworths Offer

All Eligible Customers (see section 2 below) will receive from Woolworths Group Limited (Woolworths) a specific number of Everyday Rewards points (Everyday Rewards points) (see the table below for details), deposited to their Everyday Rewards Account in the third month after taking out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 3 below).  The number of Everyday Rewards points you are entitled to is dependent on the value of your first year’s premiums for the Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy you hold 60 days after joining (including any applicable Age Based Discount, Lifetime Health Cover loading or Australian government rebates) (First Year Premium).The amount of Everyday Rewards points offered under this promotion is subject to change, in the discretion of Woolworths. Changes to Everyday Rewards points offered will be published online.

2) Eligibility

The Offers are available to you if you:

a) are a new Bupa customer and you have not been a Bupa domestic policyholder for the past 12 months;

b) are an Australian resident;

c) take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy (see section 4 below) between 31 August 2020 and 31 January 2021, maintain that cover and meet all payment obligations for 2 months. Note: the Bupa Offer is only available if you take out an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy with Extras;

d) pay your premiums by direct debit or payroll deduction (if available);

e) provide one Everyday Rewards membership number to Bupa within 30 days of joining. Only one Everyday Rewards membership can be linked per Bupa policy. Note: the surname for your Rewards account must match your surname or that of another member on your Bupa policy;

f) provide the promotion code, “Woolies20” on sign up; and

g) provide a valid email address upon joining Bupa.

 

If you meet all of the above requirements you are an “Eligible Customer”.


3) Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy

An Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy is a single, single parent, single parent plus, couple, family or family plus selected domestic Hospital only or combined domestic Hospital and Extras product or packaged product issued by Bupa but excludes:

a) Any company funded Bupa health plans (either partially or fully funded);

b) Extras only products;

c) Ambulance only products; and

d) Overseas Student Health Cover, Overseas Visitors Cover and Short Stay Visitors Cover.


4) General

a) The Offers are not available with any other promotional join offer.

b) The Offers are not available if you join through a price comparison website (including Compare The Market and Health Insurance Comparison).

c) You agree to your personal information being shared with Woolworths for the purpose of Woolworths providing you with the Woolworths Offer. Woolworths handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.  Bupa handles your personal information in accordance with its Information Handling Policy.

e) Woolworths Offer is subject to the Everyday Rewards terms and conditions.

f) If you breach these terms and conditions before becoming entitled to these Offers, then Bupa and/or Woolworths may elect, acting reasonably, not to award you these Offers. If Bupa and/or Woolworths discover the breach after these Offers have been awarded, then Bupa and/or Woolworths may decide, acting reasonably, to remove these Offers from your account.

f) Bupa and Woolworths reserve the right to alter, shorten the period of, adjust any details of, or cancel these Offers or this promotion at any time in their sole discretion.

g) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Bupa and Woolworths exclude all liability for loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of these Offers, or your participation in these Offers.

5) 3x points on fresh fruit, fresh veggies and Macro Wholefoods Market offer

For Woolworths Rewards members who sign up to a new Bupa policy, the promotion runs for 60 days from the date Bupa confirms your Everyday Rewards account details. For existing Bupa policyholders who link their Everyday Rewards account, the promotion runs for 60 days from the date you link your Bupa policy with your Everyday Rewards account. Both 60 day periods are referred to as the 'Promotional Period' and your account must remain linked during the Promotion Period relevant to you.  Note that only one Everyday Rewards membership can be linked per Bupa policy.

 

The promotion runs at Woolworths Supermarkets, Woolworths Metro and Woolworths online. This offer is personal to you, and will be available only on your Everyday Rewards card. Pricing and stock availability may vary by store.

 

Existing Bupa customers on an Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy, will receive 3x Everyday Rewards points for every $1 spent during the Promotional Period relevant to you, on the entire Macro Wholefoods Market and Produce category (consisting of all fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, organic and pre-pack raw fruit and/or vegetable salads). An Eligible Bupa Health Insurance Policy is a single, single parent, single parent plus, couple, family or family, plus selected domestic Hospital only, domestic Extras Only or combined domestic Hospital and Extras product or packaged product issued by Bupa but excludes Ambulance only products and Overseas Student Health Cover, Overseas Visitors Cover and Short Stay Visitors Cover.

Existing Bupa customers must be on an active policy, i.e. not suspended for travelling or financial hardship and is not lapsed due to arrears (over 120 days in arrears).

Existing Bupa customers must add your Bupa membership details to your Everyday Rewards account online or by contacting Everyday Rewards before 30th August 2021.


Any qualifying transactions you have made at Woolworths during the Promotional Period will qualify for 3x points. 3x points equals: 1 (one) standard point; and 2 (two) additional points, for each $1 spent on the qualifying products. To redeem your offer in-store, you must scan your Everyday Rewards card before completing the transaction at the checkout. Offer can be redeemed multiple times during the Promotional Period by one Everyday Rewards membership. If eligible for multiple bonus point offers on the same product, only 1 (one) standard point can be collected once for all eligible offers, plus the applicable number of bonus points. Your bonus points will be automatically loaded onto your Everyday Rewards account within 7 business days from your qualifying shop.

To claim your bonus points when shopping online, your Everyday Rewards card must be added to your Woolworths online account prior to completing your order. To order online, visit woolworths.com.au and select delivery or Pick up. Check woolworths.com.au for available delivery areas, available delivery windows and order cut off dates. Minimum spend in a single transaction of $30 for Pick up (excluding bag fee) and $50 for Delivery (excluding delivery fee, bag fee or crate service fee) applies.
