Using eReceipts allows you to checkout with less contact and greater convenience at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro stores.
eReceipts are tax invoices and provide a full view of:
- your total purchases and savings in store
- products you purchased
- eligible charity donations
- parking vouchers
- special offers you would typically find on your paper receipts
eReceipts do not currently show:
- fuel vouchers (which you can view in the app or in your online account, and redeem by scanning your Everyday Rewards Card at participating fuel outlets)
- Woolworths Discovery Garden seedling kits earned with your shop
If you’d like to see these, you can still receive a printed receipt in-store when you check out or find them in the app or your online account.
Your eReceipt will include your parking vouchers and eligible charity donations you have made at the checkout. If you opt out of paper receipts and use eReceipts only, you will still receive a paper print out of your parking voucher.
Your eReceipt won't include fuel vouchers (which you can view in the app or in your online account). Your fuel vouchers will be stored on your Everyday Rewards card as normal.
While parking vouchers will be available in digital format in the app, these are solely for your use at standalone pay machines and for your records. Please do not use the digital voucher on your phone when you are in your vehicle.
You can easily view your Woolworths eReceipts in the Everyday Rewards app and online in your Everyday Rewards account.
To find your eReceipts in the app:
1. Open the Everyday Rewards app, and head to the “Activity” tab in the app
2. Tap on a Woolworths transaction to view your eReceipt
To find your eReceipts in your online account:
1. Login to your account at everydayrewards.com.au
2. Select “My account” at the top navigation, followed by “My Activity”
3. Click on the receipt icon or date section of a Woolworths transaction to view your eReceipt
eReceipts are available for in-store shops at Woolworths made from 1 May 2020 onwards. They’re available for 14 months after the date of your shop. If you’d like to keep a record of your eReceipts, each eReceipt can be downloaded separately as a PDF.
Your eReceipt may take up to 45 minutes to appear in the Everyday Rewards app and your online account. If your eReceipt doesn’t appear in the app or your online account after 24 hours, please contact us for assistance.
At the moment, eReceipts are available when you shop in store at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro stores. eReceipts are not available for Woolworths Online shops. We look forward to rolling out more features in the future to enhance the convenience of eReceipts.
If you've scanned or tapped your Everyday Rewards Card in store at Woolworths you’ll automatically be able to access your eReceipt for that shop within the app and your online account. To use eReceipts only and stop receiving paper receipts in store when you shop, you will need to update your preferences in the Receipts Preferences section in the app or your online account or at a Rewards Hub in-store.
Note that even after opting out of paper receipts, some vouchers will still print out in paper form at the checkout, including vouchers for parking, mobile phone recharge and gift card transactions and for items you collect as part of "collectables" campaigns.
If you’d like to keep a record of your eReceipts beyond 14 months, each eReceipt can be downloaded separately as a PDF.
To download your eReceipt from the app, tap the ‘share’ icon in the top corner of the eReceipt while open.
To download your eReceipt when viewing online, click the ‘download’ icon on the top left hand corner of the eReceipt while open.
To go paperless~ and opt out of receiving paper receipts for your Woolworths in-store shops, follow these simple steps.
Opting out in the app:
1. Head to your Account tab in the app and select Receipt Preferences
2. In the Receipt Preferences section, toggle to receive “eReceipts only”
If you don’t see the Receipt Preferences option in your app, please ensure your app is updated to version 2.7, hard close or quit the app and then reopen it to try again.
Opting out through your online account:
1. Login to your account at everydayrewards.com.au
2. Head to “My Account” and then select “Cards & Accounts”
3. Scroll down to the Account section, and under “Change receipts preferences”, toggle to receive “eReceipts only”
4. You’ll see a message to confirm that you have opted out of paper receipts
Opting out in-store at Woolworths at the Rewards Hub:
1. Login to your account at the Rewards Hub and enter your password
2. Select “My Account”
3. Select “Receipts Preferences”
3. Turn on “Use eReceipts only” and select “Save”
If you've opted out of paper receipts at Woolworths, you won't be prompted for a paper receipt at the checkout in Woolworths any longer, helping you have a faster, paperless~ checkout. However, you can always ask for a paper receipt if you need one by speaking to a team member.
~Note that even while you’re opted out of paper receipts, some vouchers will still print out in paper form at the checkout, including vouchers for mobile phone recharge and gift card transactions, parking vouchers and for items you collect as part of "collectables" campaigns.
You can always opt back in to paper receipts at any time.
If you've opted out of paper receipts, you won't be prompted for a paper receipt in store at Woolworths. There aren't any changes to the way you shop online.
You can opt back in to paper receipts at any time via the Everyday Rewards app, your online account or at a Rewards Hub in-store at Woolworths. Simply head to your Receipts Preferences to update your preferences.
It should take less than 5 minutes for changes to your Receipts Preferences to be reflected at the checkout.
If you don’t see your Receipts Preferences in the Account tab in the Everyday Rewards app:
1. Update your app to version 2.7 and above.
2. Hard close or quit the app
3. Re-open the app.
Once you have opened the updated app, you can update your receipts preferences:
1. Head to your Account tab in the app and select Receipt Preferences
2. In the Receipt Preferences section, toggle to receive “eReceipts only”
