No, not for this offer. The points are based on how much you spend in a single shop, in a single location.
The offer is calculated based on what you spend, not what you pay. So as long as your transaction comes to more than the required spend, you'll earn that multiplier. For example, if you spend $155* and use $10 off you still get your 10x points. You won't drop back to 5x because you only paid $145. But remember, if your card is unregistered you won't be able to activate the Rewards Bonus offer, or redeem dollars off your shop until you register your card. *Some spend exclusions apply.
You can register your card online before your shop. Head to our Join page at www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/join to create your account. If you've already picked up a temporary card in store, make sure you register it online and we'll send a permanent card in the mail. You'll need to register your card before you can activate the Rewards Bonus offer, redeem your points for rewards and enjoy all of your other member benefits.

Absolutely. For this particular offer we'll reward your eligible points, even if you've only just joined. Please note though, that the offer only applies to registered Rewards cards - so don't forget to register your temporary card.

Where possible, we recommend you activate as soon as you receive your offer, and at least two hours before you shop. You can activate in-store using your mobile with your registered Rewards card number. Unless there are unforeseen technology issues, you'll be able to shop and redeem your points. Due to processing time, there may be a 48 hour delay in these points showing on your balance. If you have completed a shop prior to activating the shop will not be eligible for this offer. Remember to scan your card at the checkout, before paying.
If you're a new member or you have just activated it might take us a bit longer than usual to show you your points. Don't worry - if you have registered your card, activated the offer and added your account (online) or scanned or tapped your card (in-store) your points will be credited within 7 days. If you’re shopping in-store remember to scan your card at the checkout, before paying.
You can use a temporary card in-store, however you will need to register your card before you can activate, and be eligible for the offer. Temporary cards don't work online. However, if you're shopping online on Woolworths online, BWS and BIG W, you can link your card to your account and earn points on your next shop. Remember, you can't redeem dollars off your shop until you register your Rewards card.

Promotion runs from 00:01 AEDT 05/12/19 to 23:59 AEDT 08/12/19 (“Promotional Period”) in-store and online at Woolworths supermarkets, Woolworths Metro, in-store and online BWS (Offer not available in all stores, including stores in Tasmania, and locations that are subject to liquor restrictions such as dry zones), participating Caltex sites with a Star Mart or The Foodary, Caltex Woolworths co branded fuel outlets (operated by Euro Garages Australia) and in-store and online at BIG W (in all cases excluding Tasmania). You must have a registered Woolworths Rewards card to be eligible for the promotion. Registered Woolworths Rewards members must activate offer at least 2 hours prior to shopping in-store or online to participate in the promotion. Any transactions you have made before activating your offer, will not be counted towards the qualifying spend. Once activated, this offer will be available only on your registered Woolworths Rewards card. To earn 3x bonus points spend $50-$99.99* in one transaction during the Promotional Period. 3x points equals 1 (one) standard Woolworths point and 2 (two) additional Woolworths points.
