Get started in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Check your device
Make sure that your mobile or tablet device is running on Android OS version 6.0 and above, or iOS version 12.0 and above to install the app.
Step 2: Download the app
Download the Rewards app at the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can find the app in the App Store or Google Play by searching for “Woolworths Rewards”.
Step 3: Log in
Open the Rewards app and log in using your Rewards card number or email address linked to your account (you’ll be sent a 6-digit code via SMS or email that you’ll need to enter).
Step 4: Check out your offers
Once logged in, you’ll see offers waiting for you in the “For You” tab. Activate offers and shop to grow your points.
To get set up, simply follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have a compatible device. The Rewards app can be added to mobile and tablet devices running on Android OS version 6.0 and above, and iOS version 12.0 and above.
2. Download the Rewards app from Apple Store or Google Play
3. Log in with either your 13-digit Rewards card number (starting with 9) or your email.
4. Enter the 6-digit one-time code that is sent to your mobile phone or email. If you don’t receive this code within a few minutes, please tap “I didn’t receive my code” to resend a new one. If you still don’t receive your verification code, you can also enter your usual Woolworths Rewards password as an alternative to using the one-time code.
5. Once you complete the secure log in, you’re ready to go!
Please note, if you haven’t registered your Woolworths Rewards account and are using a temporary paper card, you’ll have to register your card before you can access your account on the Rewards app. You can register your card in just a few minutes here.
If you have difficulties downloading the app on your device, please:
- check that your device is on the required OS or iOS version, and update your device to the required version if possible. The Rewards app can be added to mobile and tablet devices running on Android OS version 6.0 and above, and iOS version 12.0 and above.
- check that your Google Play or App Store is configured for Australia.
- ensure you have enough space on your device.
- check that you have a good internet connection. If you have set your App Store to only download apps on WiFi, you’ll need to be connected to WiFi.
- try restarting your phone and then downloading the app.
If you have installed the app and have difficulties logging in on the app, please log in at woolworthsrewards.com.au first and:
- ensure that your contact details including your email address and contact number are up to date. You can do so by heading to “My Account” and then “My Details”.
- reset your password by heading to “Cards & Accounts” and scrolling to the “Change your password” section.
Then, try logging into the app again, entering either your 13-digit Rewards card number (starting with 9) or your email linked to your account. Enter the 6-digit one-time code that is sent to your mobile phone or email. If you don’t receive this code within a few minutes, please tap “I didn’t receive my code” to resend a new one. If you still don’t receive your verification code, you can also enter your usual Woolworths Rewards password as an alternative to using the one-time code.
You can see what points you've earned on your shop at Woolworths supermarkets, BWS, Caltex Woolworths/EG (operated by Euro Garages Australia) and BIG W in the Rewards app. While it typically takes up to 3 days for your points to appear in the activity statement in the app, depending on how you earned them, it may take up to 2 weeks.
If you’ve earned points at participating Caltex locations, please allow up to 5 business days for your points to appear in your account. If you've earned points using the BWS click and collect service, it may take up to 2 weeks for your points to appear.
Bonus points from offers may take up to 7 business days to show in your account, unless otherwise specified in the T&Cs of that offer. You can view the T&Cs of each of your past offers, for 14 days after the offer expires, in the “For You” tab in the Rewards app.
Yes. With the Rewards app, you can see when your bonus points appear in your account. You can find a 90 day history of your bonus points and transaction activity within the “Activity” tab.
The Rewards app gives you access to offers that you would normally receive via email and social media. You can activate and track offers, enter competitions and more; all within the Rewards app. There will still be additional offers available in different places (such as at the bottom of your receipts or via email), so keep an eye out to make sure you’re maximising your Rewards.
Once logged in, you can view your offers and rewards by tapping "For You".
To activate an offer, simply select an offer and tap “Activate”. You must activate an offer at least 2 hours before shopping in-store or online to ensure it’s loaded to your card.
You can track the status of your offers and rewards based on the below:
- Activate: The offer needs to be activated to qualify for the points or reward offered.
- Activated: The offer has been activated. Check the details of the offer and complete the requirements to receive the bonus points or rewards.
- Completed: You qualified for the offer and will receive the points or rewards.
- Pending: The offer status will be updated soon. Check back later for an update.
- Ended: You met the requirements of the offer and will receive the points or rewards. The offer period is now over.
- Missed: You didn’t activate or didn’t meet the requirements for this offer.
Please allow up to 7 days for updates on your offer status to be shown in the app.
Yes. The Rewards app gives you quick and easy access to your card; allowing you to scan in stores and never miss out on earning points. Simply tap the “Card” tab in the Rewards app and your unique barcode will be displayed for you to scan at the barcode reader at checkout.
You can also add your Rewards card to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account, which enables you to scan and earn points at checkout by simply tapping your NFC-enabled phone at the EFTPOS machine. Find out more here.
Using eReceipts in the app allows you to checkout with less contact and greater convenience at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro stores.
eReceipts are tax invoices and provide a full view of:
- your total purchases and savings in store
- products you purchased
- Rewards points earned on that shop
- customer ABN details, if provided at checkout
eReceipts currently don’t show:
- parking vouchers
- fuel vouchers
- charity donations
- offers that you may usually see on your printed receipts.
If you’d like to see these, you can still receive a printed receipt in store when you checkout.
At the moment, eReceipts are available when you shop in store (excluding online) at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro stores.
We look forward to rolling out more features in the future to enhance the convenience of eReceipts.
To view your Woolworths eReceipts, make sure you scanned your Woolworths Rewards card or tapped your digital card when you shopped in store.
1. Head to the “Activity” tab in the app.
2. Select your Woolworths transaction.
3. View your eReceipt.
eReceipts will be available on shops made from 1 May 2020 onwards. It may take up to 2 hours following your shop at Woolworths for your eReceipt to appear in the app. At times it may take up to 24 hours. If your eReceipt doesn’t appear in the app after 24 hours, you can contact us for assistance.
Your recent transactions and eReceipts are available in the app for 90 days after you shop.
At this time eReceipts cannot be printed out or downloaded from the app so, if you need your receipt available for more than 90 days or need a hard copy, please take a printed receipt at the checkout.
If you’ve scanned or tapped your Rewards card in store at Woolworths, you’ll automatically be able to access your eReceipt for that shop within the app. You are free to let our team member know at the checkout that you don’t need a printed receipt for that shop.
eReceipts show your purchases and savings made on your shop at Woolworths. They currently don’t show:
- parking vouchers
- fuel vouchers
- charity donations
- offers that you may usually see on your printed receipts
If you require a receipt showing the above, please take a printed receipt at the checkout.
When accessing this app, Woolworths Group Limited (ABN 88 000 014 675) (“Woolworths”, “us” or “we”) please need you to be aware of the following product and service specific information:
1.1. The Woolworths Rewards app is an application where you can view your Woolworths points balance, browse specials, see and activate your Rewards Offers and use or access other Member Benefits as advertised on the app.
1.2. Please read these terms and conditions before accessing or using the app. If you are under 18 years of age, then you must obtain your parent or guardian’s consent before accessing and using the app.
2. Your agreement to the terms and conditions
2.1. By accessing and using the app, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions as amended from time to time, including the Woolworths Rewards Terms and Conditions (available at https://www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/terms.html).
3.1.To use this app, you must have completed registration as a Woolworths Rewards member via the Woolworths Rewards website (www.woolworthsrewards.com.au) and app-specific registration requirements. Any personal information that you give us will be held and used by us in accordance with the Woolworths Rewards collection notice referred to in clause 8 below. Customers in Tasmania cannot register to become a Rewards member.
3.2. You may not have more than one active app account. While you can at any time delete this app, please note that you can update or terminate your Rewards account only through the Woolworths Rewards website.
3.3. If you choose to use a workplace email address for your Rewards account and accordingly to access the app, then you are solely responsible for ensuring that you comply with the rules, policies or protocols that apply to the use of your email address and your workplace facilities.
4.1. All prices for the Products include GST where applicable.
4.2 You acknowledge that pricing displayed on the app may differ depending on the postcode you have selected (for example, the price for a Product in Sydney may differ from the price for that same Product in Melbourne).
4.3. Just like in our supermarkets, prices for Products as cited on this app change from time to time and we do not provide any advance notice of these changes.
5. Your general obligations
(a) must ensure that your LoginID and password that are used to access the app and the details of your account are kept confidential and secure and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account as a result of your failing to keep this information confidential and secure;
(b) must promptly notify us through Customer Service on 1300 10 1234 during Contact Hours if you are or become aware that there is or has been an unauthorised use of your LoginID, password or account, or any other security breach relating to your account;
(c) are responsible for any costs associated with your access to or use of the app, including Internet access fees;
(d) are responsible and liable for any person that uses your LoginID and password to use the app; and
(e) acknowledge that when you activate a Rewards Offer, you are accepting the specific terms and conditions related to that offer.
6. General restrictions
You must not:
(a) use the app in any way or for any activities that breach any laws, infringe a third party’s rights or are contrary to any relevant regulations, standards or codes;
(b) use the app in a manner or way, or post to or transmit to or via the app any material, which interferes with other users or our other customers or defames, harasses, threatens, menaces or offends any person or which prevents any other person from using or enjoying the app;
(c) make fraudulent or speculative enquiries, purchases or requests through the app;
(d) use another person’s details without their permission or impersonate another person when using the app;
(e) post or transmit any obscene, indecent, inflammatory or pornographic material or any other material that may give rise to civil or criminal proceedings;
(f) tamper with or hinder the operation of the app;
(g) knowingly transmit any viruses, worms, defects, trojan horses or similar disabling or malicious code to the app;
(h) use any robot, spider, app search and retrieval application or other mechanism to retrieve or index any portion of the app;
(i) modify, adapt, translate or reverse engineer any portion of the app;
(j) remove any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on the app;
(k) reformat or frame any portion of the app;
(l) create accounts by automated means or under false or fraudulent pretences;
(m) use the app to violate the security of any computer or other network or engage in illegal conduct;
(n) take any action that imposes or that would, in our reasonable opinion, result in an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
(o) use the app other than in accordance with these terms and conditions; or
(p) attempt any of the above acts or engage or permit another person to do any of the above acts.
7.1. We may immediately refuse service, suspend, terminate or limit your access to and use of the app, terminate your Rewards account and/or remove or edit content if we, acting reasonably, deem that you have acted in breach of these terms and conditions or have used the app in a fraudulent or improper manner, or have in any way misused the app.
7.2. You may stop using the app at any time and for any reason.
7.3. We may stop making the app (or any part of it) available without prior notice.
The Woolworths Rewards collection notice is available on the Woolworths Rewards website and forms part of these terms and conditions. You acknowledge and agree to our collection notice.
By logging into the app using your Woolworths Rewards membership details and using the app, you agree to us collecting, using, storing and disclosing information about your in-app behaviour and use of the app and engagement in the Woolworths Rewards program for the purpose of optimising your user journey and experience and to improve our offers and campaigns, and otherwise in accordance with our collection notice. This information includes your activation of offers, viewing of offers, location (if you have not opted out of sharing your location through your device settings in accordance with clause 13), notification preferences and other engagement with the app.
Technical information and preferences about your device, system and application software may also be collected. We collect this information to provide you with the functionalities of the app and to optimise your user journey and experience, including to better understand your requirements and preferences for using the app and to facilitate the provision of updates.
9. Intellectual property rights
(a) acknowledge that the copyright in the app, the software, design, text and graphics comprised in the app, the selection and layout of the app and the content and materials on the app (together, the “Materials”) are owned by or licensed to us;
(b) must not modify, copy, adapt, store in a retrieval system, reproduce, upload, post, transmit, sell, distribute in any way or communicate to the public a Material without our prior written consent; and
(c) must not frame or embed any of the material appearing on this app without our prior written consent.
9.2. You may:
(a) store a reproduction of the content on this app for the sole purpose of viewing the content and Materials; and
(b) print hard copies of the content and Materials for the sole purpose of viewing the content and materials but not for any other use, including commercial use.
9.3. This app contains registered trade marks and other trade marks which are protected by law. You must not use any of the marks or trade marks appearing on the app or our name or the names of our related bodies corporate without our prior written consent. You must not use any of the other company, product and services marks on the app that are owned by other third parties (including our suppliers and partners) without obtaining the relevant third party owner’s consent.
10. Changes to these terms and conditions
We may change, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions at any time. We will give advance notice of any such change, suspension or termination on the app, which will allow you time to delete the app within the period of that advance notice, in the event that you do not wish to agree to the relevant change or suspension. Where we change these terms and conditions, a copy of the revised terms and conditions will be available on the app. If you continue to access or use the app after the period of advance notice has expired, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions.
11.1. The app may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us or our related bodies corporate.
These links are provided for your convenience only and you agree that:
(a) we make no representations or warranties, or have any responsibility or liability for those websites; and
(b) these links do not indicate, expressly or impliedly, that we endorse the site, any opinions expressed on the site or any products or services that may be provided at those sites.
You agree that you access the content and use any products and services made available or advertised at those sites solely at your own risk.
11.2. If the whole or any part of a provision of these terms and conditions is void, unenforceable or illegal in any jurisdiction it is severed for that jurisdiction. The remainder of these terms and conditions has full force and effect and the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction is not affected. This clause has no effect if the severance is contrary to public policy.
11.3. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place. Any rights or remedies to which you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law arise independently of these terms and conditions and this clause does not apply to any claim you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11.4. Woolworths attempts to be as accurate as possible and uses its best endeavours to ensure, but does not itself warrant, that any information provided by its suppliers and partners, including in relation to product descriptions or other content of the app, is accurate, complete, reliable, current and error-free.
Do not use this phone app whilst driving or refuelling your vehicle as it is dangerous.
13. Location settings and push notifications
You can manage whether or not to share your location or receive push notifications at any time while using the app. This can only be done through the device settings. If you do not wish to share your location or receive push notifications, you can opt-out of these functions through the device settings.
The following capitalised terms used in these terms and conditions have the meanings set out below:
Contact Hours means Customer Service operating hours, being 9am - 7pm AEST Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm AEST Saturdays and Sundays and 10am to 4pm AEST Public Holidays, excluding National Public Holidays and Easter Sunday, when the Customer Service line is closed.
GST has the meaning it has in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).
LoginID means the email address that you provided to us as part of the registration process for your Rewards account and that you use to access the app.
Member Benefits means benefits you can earn or be awarded from time to time in connection with the Rewards program, for instance, Points, Woolworths Dollars, exclusive personalised Rewards member offers, Rewards Offers and the other types of benefits mentioned in these terms and conditions or the Rewards Terms and Conditions.
Product means each good or service that is advertised on the app.
Rewards account means your Rewards account that you can access via the Rewards website or through any other means we have authorised, for example by logging into this app or a digital wallet.
Rewards Offer refers to an offer that is made to you on this app or made to you in another channel (eg email) and displayed in this app.
